Nel febbraio del 2012 venne impiantato il nostro vigneto secondo l’intuizione di Salvatore Giammalvo che, seguendo le antiche regole dei vigneti di famiglia delle precedenti generazioni, volle creare un vigneto misto che sfruttasse la particolare esposizione del terreno, composto da una striscia di terra baciata dal Sole e ben ventilata e da tre terrazze a quote diverse, il cuore della collina di Gilletto.

Con il passare degli anni e dopo le prime tre vendemmie ci siamo resi conto che il blend naturale dato dal Grillo e dallo Zibibbo, raccolti e vinificati insieme, ci dava in un unico vino l’essenza liquida del nostro vigneto, da lì la nascita di Arsura … esposto a Sud con la vendemmia 2018 e la sua messa in commercio a settembre 2019.

In February 2012 our vineyard was planted according to the intuition of Salvatore Giammalvo who, following the ancient rules of the family vineyards of previous generations, wanted to create a mixed vineyard that exploited the particular exposure of the land, consisting of a well ventilated strip of land kissed by the sun and from three terraces at different altitudes, the heart of the Gilletto hill.

Over the years and after the first three vintages, we realized that the natural blend given by Grillo and Zibibbo, collected and vinified together, gave us in a single wine the liquid essence of our vineyard, hence the birth of Arsura … facing south with the 2018 vintage and its marketing in September 2019.
